Creative Inspirations Challenge #119: To The Seaside

Since I had all my craft materials already out, I decided to do another card. So I dived into my list of card challenges and found Creative Inspirations. Lucky for me the theme is “To The Seaside” as just this morning I bought a 12×12 by Graphic45 which has old photos of ladies in swimsuits printed on it. The card is nothing fancy. I kept it quite clutter free as when I think of seaside, I think  of fresh breeze and freedom of just being. Here it is and I hope you like it.

Another lesson of Finnish language…Loma means vacation or holiday.

Summer 2010 pt.1

Last summer I visited my friend Anu who lives in Turku for couple of days. Since I’m seriously cool and my social life is booming, I spent my Friday night editing pictures I took over there. When I say editing, I mean I dabbled with some Photoshop Actions I downloaded ages ago from The Pioneer Woman. On this one I used the Boost and Seventies- actions which have turned out to be my favourites.

Yup. It’s a dead bird. Nope. It doesn’t have anything to do with my trip to Turku. I just wanted to prove my attachment to afore-mentioned Photoshop Actions. I took it last year at my aunt’s summer cottage where we were celebrating my cousin’s birthday. On our way we began talking how the whole situation (birthday party, booze, bunch of young people, remote location) is a good set up for slasher movie. Of course, me being me, I couldn’t let the idea go, so I took loads of pictures so I could make a story board. Well the story board hasn’t happened yet and probably never will but letting your imagination run is sure fun.

Till next time.
