Currently On The Selling List…
I got home yesterday from a flea market where I took my items to, all mad because I hadn’t been selling as much as I thought I would. Not to dwell on the loss, today I photographed some things to sell online. (Sidenote: I might want to stop fingerprinting my camera lense. Might take better photos then.)
This one is my favourite:

Selling Headache
As per usual, I’ve been on a spring cleaning/organizing kick lately. I always do when there’s more light and one can actually see the problems one has in one’s apartment. For me, my tiny place was overtaken by sellable items and I decided to book a table at a local flea market to get rid of my overstock. 35 euros for 7 days. Not too bad. So , on Saturday morning I dragged (ON THE BUS) two Ikea-sacks full of retro goodies (that I’d been pricing till early hours) to other side of town. Then on Sunday I carried two MORE sacks and today, one more. That’s 5 sacks, my people!
When I had done organizing my booth today, I wandered over to the till and began chatting with the owner. First, I wanted to know how much I’d sold so far. HARDLY ANYTHING!!! Already a painful vision of me carrying those five sacks home coming Friday occurred. I asked if should put a discount sign on this early in the week and the answer came as bit of a shock.

Apparently my prices are too low as they are! Whaaat!?! I thought if I’d price them low enough, I’d actually sell the stuff but nooo, that’s not how they do things in Espoo. My solution? Tomorrow I’m going to go and raise the prices. Even if it takes me 2 hours to rip all the price tags off and replace them with new ones.

Now On The Selling List
I got my battery charger back yesterday so today I’ve been photographing bunch of things I want to sell. I have few dresses that I will sell at a regular FB-flea market and some vintage goodies for the retro market. Do you want to see what I’m selling? Of course you do.
The sewing machine caddy was sold as I was writing this post. Yay! Now I’m off to photograph some more things to sell.

Recently Thrifted
Well this isn’t really recently thrifted but spoils from my trip to the huge flea market in Vantaa back in November. I bought this tray together with a vintage hat box and some Christmas decorations for a reasonable price.
But I’m selling it anyway. My friend pointed out that I can have either craft supplies or vintage goodies all over my apartment and alas, choices had to made.
Wish me luck that it will sell quickly.
