It’s All About The Flow

Sometimes you get the proof that you have awesome friends. For me that happened on Wednesday. My sister came over to do my laundry (our communal laundry room is in the basement and can be accessed only through outdoors) and she also got my mail (our mail boxes are also outside, not far but there is usually ice around them so I don’t dare to go there yet).

There were the usual suspects, bills, ads and some cards from Postcrossing but then there was this gigantic brown padded envelope. Naturally at first I suspected something horrible was about to happen (what do you mean I’m too strung out?) but when I saw it was from my friend in Turku I got all excited.

Care to see what she sent me? Of course you do:

A magazine! For paper lovers! I died. I so died when I saw this. She had gotten two copies from our mutual friend in Holland (who is an awesome illustrator) and who had then suggested that the other copy could be sent to me to cheer me up. And boy, was she right.

The magazine is printed on amazing paper. There are amazing illustrators. Freebies, in this case some gift wrapping paper AND a notebook. Articles! You know, for when looking at pretty pictures isn’t enough. My favourite page is this :

As for the articles…I cannot really comment on them as I’m saving them for a moment I feel like reading.  But I already like the typeface they are using on the headings:

Flow5But guess what got me most excited? A coupon for a free poster! You bet your *ss I’m going to claim mine:

Flow3 I was going to subscribe Mollie Makes for myself as a Congratulations On Recovering From an Operation-gift but now I don’t know. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Till next time!

That looks fantastic! Love the big and colorful prints. They would make an awesome collage when you want to use up old magazines :)
