Monday means it’s a challenge day! This week’s theme is Hip To Be Square which means your card has to be square shaped. Wasn’t a problem to me as I nearly always make my cards square.
Should I write one more sentence with the word ‘square’ in it?
I tried to achieve a country-esque look…
A country kitchen to be precise…
I think I achieved it. The chef is supposed to be my friend Piia. She owns pink Crocs and gets that red in the face when cooking. I’m going to send this card to her as soon as an occasion calls for it. Suitable occasion being she’s done a major ef-up in the kitchen and I need to make fun of it.
True friendships last forever <3
Don’t forget to go and take part in my Halloween Giveaway, there’s some crafty goodiness to be won. The deadline to enter is the 15th of October, midnight in Helsinki-time. Thrifty Finn is also on Facebook, so if you feel like connecting to yours truly, click HERE.

This is so pretty. I love how everything is slightly tilted. Thanks for sharing.
I should use tilting more often!
Your card is soooo stinkin’ cute! I love the design and the coloring! Great job! <3
I love your sense of humor… and her red face!! Nice card for your friend Niina!

Thanks Ginny! I’m actually looking forward to sending this card… *evil grin*
Fabulous card. Love your design and mix of patterned paper. Great coloring of the fun image!
Thanks Pat! I like the mix too!
This is a fun card, even more so when I know how you will use it! I like the gingham background with the sweet mix of patterns over it. I also love the richness of your colouring. The pink crocs are so funny. Great card!
Thanks Bonnie! Go and comment on the giveaway too!
There’s something about gingham…It never fails!
