TAST 10: Running Rainbow

We are in the double digits! Only 42 more samples to go (and only two weeks behind the schedule). I feel like I should be receiving some kind of reward. Maybe a gold star sticker.

Running stitch seems simple but it takes time to have it engrained in your muscle memory so that every single stitch comes up even. Do I even need to say that I’m not there yet? I cannot even remember the last time I used running stitch.

Instead of the usual tag I went with cloud shape. Since clouds go hand in hand with rainbows. The idea to stitch a rainbow came form an idiotic Facebook game where there was a special St. Patrick’s Day quest.

I was even inspired to use green ink for the stamping. I don’t mind the unevenness of the letters. They match quite nicely with the uneven stitching :D

Meet mister Roy G. Biv! Quite dashing don’t you think?

If these colours aren’t a promise of summer to come, I don’t know what are. Next in the stitchy waiting line is: Whipped Wheel.
