I have killed all but one of my plants. The easter grass didn’t grow at all, I forgot to water the salad and one plant I got from my friend just died. Watering didn’t help. NOT watering didn’t help. Fertilizing didn’t help. Changing it’s location and potter didn’t help. I’m a mass plant murderer. I’m pretty sure the last survivor will wither any day now, just to prove a point. The point being; I am a plant mass murderer.
Amalia hosted a Shoe Card Workshop few weeks ago. It was fun. Bunch of women crafting and gossiping and laughing. The ones I did (see: picture above) came together rather quickly. Unfortunately I decided to attack Amalia’s collection of inks and stamps and for some reason I chose Walnut Stain. More like “Hey, I stepped on a runny dog poo with my socks on and then put on my shoes.” I tried to rescue the situation by using Tumbled Glass on the other shoe but my evening was ruined already.
Walnut Stain? Seriously. Did I honestly think that it would be some fantastic shade of dark wood?
Apart from these two mishaps my April is turning out to be pretty good. I finally received a phone call I’ve been waiting for since January; I’m getting my knee operated on 17th of May. My knees dislocate and it has been getting worse. So bad that within a year, I dislocated my knee 8 times. The surgery techniques have been developing so much over the years (I had my knees operated when I was a kid) that now they can be fixed permanently. So this year it’s my right knee and the left one next year that’s going under the knife.
Now I have to go and get ready for a meeting…Later today I’ll be posting the first craft video I made for Amalia with Mira. You can so tell it’s our first one but luckily from now on, they only can get better. If not. Well, that will be awkward.
